Trust in the news is collapsing, even as hoax news and information are on the rise. How can journalists show the hard work and care behind the news and win back our trusted role in civil society? The Trust Project, a consortium of news organizations, is developing solutions to boost high-quality news in distribution systems and show the methods behind it. Sally Lehrman director and founder, will share findings from the project’s design thinking approaches and the solutions design and product teams are working on, informed in part by a 2016 partnership with SND.
