Tim Ball is Creative Director for Politico Europe. He joined Politico's team in Brussels a few months after its launch in 2015, and is responsible for establishing its identity on the Continent as well as for visuals on all platforms. For the last three years, Politico's print edition has been a finalist for World's Best Designed Newspaper in SND's annual competition. 

Prior to joining Politico, Tim led the photography and design staffs as Visuals Editor for the San Jose Mercury News and the Bay Area News Group, crisscrossed the United States as a consultant for Digital First Media and worked as an art director at The Washington Post. A native Californian, his career as a journalist has spanned 20 years, 10 U.S. states and four countries.
